An Amazon Firestick is the answer to all of your TV problems. Firestick simply plugs into your HDMI port on your TV. If you have an older TV with the Red, Yellow, & White RCA jacks instead of HDMI, then you will need to buy an HDMI female to RCA male adapter for about $10.00. Your Firestick will be capable of accessing ALL live channels from around the world including ALL news channels; weather channels; sports channels; movie channels such as HBO, Cinemax, Showtime, FLIX, etc.; documentary channels; comedy channels; cartoon channels; religious channels; TV series & shows; ALL CONTENT from Hulu, Amazon Prime, DirecTV, Redbox, Netflix, PureFlix (and starting in Nov. 2019, this will include Disney Plus); and ONCE AGAIN, ALL CONTENT IS FREE, AND I DO MEAN ALL CONTENT & FREE. No monthly subscriptions, no black outs, no expensive equipment, and your TV doesn't even have to be connected to anything but an electrical outlet & your Amazon Firestick. Thus the term CUTTING THE CORD!!!
STEP #1 - BUY YOURSELF AN AMAZON FIRESTICK ASAP!
Simply go to
Amazon and create an
account, if you don't already have one. Then you are going to purchase an
Amazon Firestick(s). Currently you can get the Fire TV Stick 4K for $49.99
or the Fire TV Stick (1080P) for $39.99. Since there is only a $10.00
difference, I STRONGLY suggest you buy the 4K version for ten dollars more.
Besides being able to handle 4K videos, the 4K stick is much better made,
the over-heating problems of the 1080P stick no longer exists with the 4K
stick, and it comes with a much better remote control. In fact, the remote
control alone costs nearly $20.00, if purchased separately as a replacement
part.
Often the Firesticks will go on sale for about $5.00 less than the current price, but at least buy one of them ASAP so you can get it set-up, learn how to use it, and start enjoying FREE TV as soon as possible. You can get multiple sticks as they come on sale, and then put one stick on every TV in your house, RV, or timeshare.
STEP #2 - UNLOCK YOUR FIRESTICK YOURSELF
Instead of writing out step-by-step
instructions on how to unlock a firestick, I am going to simply post a
link to Troypoint where you will read the instructions and watch a video.
There is no need for me to reinvent the wheel here, Troypoint will make it
easy for you to understand. The term jailbreaking simply means you are
unlocking your Firestick, just like unlocking a cell phone. It allows your
device to access all providers on the internet, so you are not locked into
only viewing Amazon Prime. As long as you have a reliable data connection, you
will have access to everything out there on the internet & TV land. Simply
open the following link on your computer, while having access to your TV & firestick, then read the page while playing & pausing the video. Listen &
Watch carefully and do the steps in order and exactly as presented.
STEP #3 - INSTALL THE TROYPOINT RAPID APP
INSTALLER
Once you have jailbroken your Amazon
Firestick, I STRONGLY recommend you sign up for the Troypoint newsletter
(you will see it as a pop-up window). The weekly Troypoint newsletter will
keep you up-to-date on new program releases, how to use tips, and much more
useful information concerning the world of the Amazon Firestick & Streaming
TV. Then
install this FREE program linked below. Instead of taking several hours to
download & install all of the safest, tested, & best add-on programs, you
can do it with a few clicks in only a few minutes.
Once you have the Rapid App Installer on your Firestick, since choose any programs you want to install on your Firestick.
STEP #4 - START USING YOUR FIRESTICK, BECOME PROFICIENT WITH IT, THEN CUT THE CORD WITH SATELLITE AND/OR CABLE TV FOR GOOD
Once you have been using your Amazon Firestick TV for about a month, you will become very proficient with it. You will know where all your programs are located, which links to choose, how to grab a different link if something isn't working optimally, and so on. For example, you can watch everything on TV, except live TV using the Morph program alone. I strongly suggest you become proficient with Morph, it will become one of your favorites. Using it, you will have access to EVERY MOVIE & TV SHOW that has ever been made. Nearly all of the content on a Firestick is COMMERCIAL FREE. No more need for a DVR or skipping through commercials, since everything is available either live or from the cloud. You simply type in the name of the movie or TV show you want to watch, and you will have access to it, including all back seasons. All live content for channels can be found on any of the Free IPTV programs that I have listed in Step #3 using the Troypoint Rapid App Installer.
Once you see how great the Amazon Firestick works, you will be like nearly everyone else that has a jailbroken firestick, and you will cancel your satellite or cable TV services. Utilizing your Firestick to enjoy FREE streaming TV is the new craze now, in fact, DirecTV, Dish & Cable are all losing thousands, if not tens of thousands of subscribers per month EACH. This will free up tons of money to perhaps add a second internet data connection & buy a second router/modem. On the day you cancel your subscription, DirecTV and/or Dish, will likely offer you Free services for a year, or better yet, they will pay you $50.00 or so per month if you hang on for another year. I say let them pay you for the extra year; therefore, they will be paying you back for your Amazon Firestick, Router/Modems, and/or internet data plans. So listen to their deals once you tell them to stop service; we got paid about $50.00 per month for an entire year, just for not canceling on that day, even though we never watched satellite TV again.
Once in a blue moon, you may be in an area with no cell phone service whatsoever & no free RV park internet. For those VERY RARE occasions, you can have downloaded FREE movies & TV series to watch; if in an RV Park, go watch the TV in the lodge (AND BRING ALONG YOUR FIRESTICK); or pop up the batwing antenna for Free local TV channels.
