2020 Travel Log

This page is our travel log for the year 2020. This way our family and friends can see where we visited and stayed at throughout the year as well as future confirmed reservations on where we will be staying or are planning to be staying at. We will update this page as we travel or should our travel plans change. The oldest entry is at the top of the page and the most recent entry is at the bottom of the page. We started traveling fulltime on June 22, 2011; we started living fulltime in our RV in May 2010 while we were preparing our home for sale and selling off most of our possessions. This is our 10th year of fulltime traveling and our 11th year of living fulltime in our motor coach.

Here is a link to Our Visited Places; this is our page listing all of the places that we have been to together "as a couple" since 1996.

Note: In route to this RV Park we heard an air leak underneath the motorcoach. Once we arrived at check-in, the airline popped, and we were dead in our tracks. The air brakes locked up and the front air bags deflated so it could not be moved or even towed until it got fixed. I started calling around and got a hold of Dale Browning, a mobile RV mechanic. His company is Dale The Mobile Mechanic. Dale was already at this RV Park and he agreed to the last minute emergency call. It took him 3 hours to find and replace a section of the air line back near the engine block area. Total for labor ($400.00), parts ($34.81) & misc. fees ($47.86), along with the  emergency service call fee ($200.00) for a total cost of $682.67. Still much cheaper than living in a regular home, and we feel blessed to have found Dale for our emergency service call. I highly recommend Dale for RV Repairs in the Bend, Redmond, Sunriver, La Pine, Three Rivers, Pineville, Terrebone, Sisters, and Gilchrist areas of eastern Oregon.

Indio, CA Stayed at WorldMark Indio (Room 4302) in Indio, CA for 30 nights in one of our timeshares; we stayed in a 1 BR suite, 1 BA, with a Full Kitchen. This resort is one of Debbie's favorite WorldMark properties. We chose this resort for our Christmas 2020 and New Year's Day 2021 holidays. This resort is located in the Coachella Valley of the Palm Springs area. We love WorldMark and we love staying in timeshares!!!

Note: From 12/06/20 to 01/07/21, the Commiefornia Governor Newsome locked down the state as part of the COVID PLANdemic/SCAMdemic. Because we were already checked into the resort for a 30 night stay, we were allowed to stay. From 12/17/20 to 01/02/21, we were the ONLY guests checked into this resort. It was strange having the entire place to ourselves for over 2 weeks, when the resort has 100s of rooms. It was like being at a humongous, fancy ghost town, and the hand-full of remaining staff were there to only serve us. This was a once-in-a-lifetime experience!

Note: We were able to park our RV in a gravel parking  lot close to the timeshare.

Note: Both of us took care of Doctor and Dental Appointments since in the same area for an extended period of time.
